Frequently Asked Questions
The Red Crescent of Kazakhstan has more than 85 years of experience in disaster response and assistance to socially vulnerable people. Therefore, in times of emergency, the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan has a team that knows the area, its language, culture and problems and can quickly arrive on the scene.
What makes the Kazakhstan Red Crescent particularly effective is its network of volunteers, united by seven fundamental principles, including neutrality, which provides access to areas where other organizations may be denied access. All employees of the Kazakhstan Red Crescent are guided by a common goal: to help those who need it most, regardless of where they live, race, political beliefs, religion, social status or culture.

Other ways to support the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan
Unfortunately, we only accept in-kind donations from the individuals in exceptional cases. Information about this will be posted on our website as well as on social media. We do not accept medicines.
The assistance programs have a very complex structure. All items must meet very clear quality standards and be appropriate to the place and setting where they will be used. Moreover, in-kind assistance would require substantial human and material resources to sort, store and transport the goods received

Red Crescent of Kazakhstan welcomes such initiatives, but the administrative side of such programs should be as simple as possible. In this regard:
Employees - please provide your employer with proof of the donation made. (If you donate online, a receipt will be emailed to you automatically). Your company can then make a contribution. If you are paying by bank transfer, you can request an email confirming that your donation has been received.
